Firefox extension frustration on a Mac

I was attempting to develop a simple firefox extension by following several online guides. More than one mentioned how to create a 'redirect' file in your profiles/extension directory.

None of these guides worked but I found a simple fix that I'd like to share with you.

Hubble expansion

When you learn something very early in life, it is easy to think that it is common knowledge. Recently I observed that many people do not know what Hubble Expansion is, and those that do often have serious misconceptions about how it works. I will share with you how I was taught about Hubble Expansion and the Big Bang in high school with a simple but intuitive model.

Getting Duplex printing to work on a Mac

We have a Dell multifunction laser printer (Dell MFP1815DN) with duplex printing. I recently had some trouble getting the duplex option to work. This post describes the simple fix to enable the duplex printing option in OS X Leopard. This fix may likely work for other printers that have similar symptoms.
